Filters, Plaster, (HIP)... is a short film produced by Channel 4 Random Acts and directed by Jamie Lee and Jed Fielder. The film uses motion tracking technology to record the construction of a plastic facsimile of a plaster cast hand, taken from Bernini’s sculpture 'The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa'. Set in an anonymous workshop, the operations of the vacuum forming technician are observed in a highly surveyed arena reminiscient of the fourth industrial revolution.
