Printing the Space (2022) Residency, exhibition and drop-in public workshop
In 2022 I was awarded a two week residency supported by Artspace Lifespace and held inside the Park Street Vestibule of Bristol City Hall. Throughout the residency I opened the doors to the space and ran drop-in public workshops on monoprinting, free and open to all. All completed prints were hung in the centre of the space in an arrangement that created a room inside the Park Street Vestibule. Participants of the workshops were asked to reflect on different aspects of the building itself, for example its history and architecture, as well as on what a new space might need to better reflect the opinions and ideas of the people of Bristol.
